Accounting Manger

This strategic position is responsible for maintaining and growing the accounting portion of the business while overseeing client relationships and service delivery. Key responsibilities include developing client onboarding strategies, leading team development, establishing quality control standards, and driving business growth initiatives.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Business Development & Growth

  • Collaborate with leadership on department growth strategy

  • Develop service offerings and pricing models

  • Participate in business development activities

  • Build relationships with referral partners and professional networks

Strategic Client Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Develop and oversee client onboarding strategy and processes

  • Lead initial client consultations and scope development

  • Establish service agreements and pricing structures

  • Maintain regular communication with key clients to ensure satisfaction

  • Proactively identify opportunities for additional services and growth

Client Relationship Management

  • Timely, well thought out responses to client questions (We have a mandatory 48 hour response time) 

  • Attend client meetings on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and occasional friday mornings

Team Leadership & Development (As the role develops over time)

  • Build and manage a team of Senior Accountants and Bookkeepers

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to accounting team members

  • Create and implement training programs for new team members

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and set team goals

  • Oversee workload distribution and capacity planning

Internal Firm Responsibilities

  • Attend bi weekly team meetings 

  • Check internal and external communication once per day Monday through Thursday 

  • Track your progress towards task in ClickUp

Flexible working hours, but must regularly be available for meetings & responses between 10am and 3pm CST Monday-Thursday.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Position will have base salary + performance based pay determined by client revenue managed.

Base salary starting at $60,000, negotiable based on experience. Earning potenital including bonus is unlimited. Once job is ramped up with a full workload, employee expected to earn over $100,000 per year.

Workload based on a 35 hour week.

Summer Fridays from May-August
